Financial Controller.

Charlton Morris have partnered with a pioneering leader in the water industry who offer a broad portfolio of flow metering and smart water technologies. By serving a range of customers across water utilities, municipalities and industrial segments, our client plays a vital role in protecting the world’s most precious resource: water.

Due to international growth, my client has a brand-new opening for a Financial Controller to join the centre of their operations in their European headquarters.

As a Financial Controller, you will collaborate with the local and international accounting teams to support with the monthly, quarterly and annual closing reports and prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales analysis, gross margins, OPEX and profit.

This is a busy position where no two days will be the same. Further to the above, you will also be responsible for:

• Preparation of budgeting and forecasting processes
• Providing data and analysis for external reports and declarations as well as any ad-hoc analysis according to business needs
• Reporting and planning of inventory levels
• Participation in system and process improvement projects

The ideal candidate will have exposure to working with international colleague and/or clients as well as the following skills and attributes

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting or similar.

• Strong analysis and reporting skills
• 2-5 years professional experience working for an international organisation
• Fluent in both German and English
• Able to manage your time well and prioritize workload
