The Verdict: the UPU and a US Ultimatum.

Aaron Pearce By Aaron Pearce

For the first time since 1969, the UPU has agreed to reform its fee structure.

This follows an ultimatum set by Trump and the US threatening to leave the UPU. That was if fees were not reformed to take into account China's rapid growth on the global trade market.

What does all this mean? With the US raising their rates, other members of the UPU will follow and the end consumer will take the brunt.
