Sales Engineer.

The Company

My client is a leading drilling and mining equipment manufacturer where their products are used extensively for piling, quarrying, tunnelling, mining, anchoring, grouting, slope stabilisation and water well drilling projects.


The Role

-The main responsibility of this role is to focus on increasing sales of piling and geotechnical Drilling consumables; specifically casing advancement systems, drill pipe, core barrels, core bits, rock bits and drilling fluids to contractors and consultants.

-The ideal candidate will be experienced selling drilling equipment and consumables into open pit and underground mines.

-You'll be responsible for selling the company's products by identifying leads, educating prospects on products through calls, trainings, and presentations, and providing existing customers with exceptional support. You will also be responsible for servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

-You will be required to travel as needed to various markets to build relationship, facilitate sales, attend trade shows, visit various jobsites, and assist with assembly and installation of equipment.

-You will need to become extremely familiar with the product (features, advantages, mechanical aspects, warranty’s, etc.

good deal

  • An individual who can work proactively in the best interest of the company.
  • The successful candidate will create and implement both short term and long range

business objectives to grow the business volumes and margins
