The Company

My client is a industry leader in the design, manufacture, marketing and distribution of compact equipment for construction, landscaping, agriculture, grounds maintenance, government, utility, industry and mining.

 

The Role:

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for, planning data maintenance, purchasing and expediting, supplier setups, new product costing and inventory management. Responsible for the main Order To Fulfilment process to Channel Partners and ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of information. Focused on removing or escalating roadblocks to Customer Order Fulfilment.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with the Production Planner/s and Suppliers
  • Purchase Order Management
  • Supply Planning and Procurement
  • Order Fulfilment
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Inventory Management
  • Demand planning for After Market Parts
  • Costing of new and upgraded products
  • Management of Supplier setups in ERP and collection of all required data

 

Details:

  • Ensuring timely manufacture of product and delivery of product by liaising with the production planner/s and suppliers
  • Managing the full life cycle of Purchase Orders from raising of PO to delivery and invoicing to customer
  • Develop and execute materials replenishment strategies and plans to ensure continuous flow of product to customers
  • Build and implement world class inventory control processes and techniques to manage inventory investment to established standards
  • Work with the supply base to build responsive, long term partnerships with suppliers
  • Maintain and administer supply chain management related statistical data (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and relevant internal resources to implement, maintain, and enhance best in class supply chain management practices
  • Collaborate with Engineering to ensure new products and updated BOMs have the correct cost

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education & Qualification: Commercial – Third Level - Allow Equivalent
  • Experience: 5+ years
  • Travel Standard: < 10%
  • Advanced Excel
  • Flexible approach
  • Must have good attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a multi-national environment
  • Experience in a modern ERP required, Oracle or SAP applications a strong advantage
  • Excellent relationship building skills
