Financial Analyst.

Charlton Morris have partnered with a pioneering developer in the renewable energy sector, who specialise in the construction of state-of-the-art solar projects. Due to sustained growth of the company, my client has a brand-new opening for a proactive Financial Analyst to cope with the growing demands of the team.

As a Financial Analyst, you will work as part of the Global Commercial Team, to develop and run financial models for solar and battery assets, as well as carrying out IRR and NPV valuations.

This position is an in-depth and busy role. Further to the above, you will also be responsible for:

• Support the Commercial and PPA team in the analysis of energy markets.
• Assist with the evaluation of company assets against company targets and of hedging options for company assets.
• Support the project finance and PPA negotiations with ad-hoc financial and quantitative analyses.
• Coordinate with other departments for inputs for financial analysis.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a financial institution and strong financial modelling capabilities, as well as the following skills and attributes:

• 2-3 years of experience in financial modelling and asset analysis.  
• A strong understanding of Microsoft Excel. A knowledge of programming such as Python or Matlab are also desirable.
• A proactive approach to learning, problem identification and problem solving.
• Strong organisational skills as well as thoroughness and attention to detail at work.
• Native or C2 level English language. Additional languages are welcome due to the international nature of the company.
