Director of Smart Buildings Programs.

CM Industrial is exclusively partnered with a Global Smart Buildings Tech firm that prides itself on optimizing energy insufficient and uncomfortable buildings while reducing operating costs. They have created centralized data management solutions for buildings and infrastructure. My client is the market leader in their respective fields within the smart buildings space and is looking to grow by 400% over the next 3-5 years.

After considerable growth already alongside further funding, my client is seeking a Director of Smart Buildings Programs. This is an exciting role to develop and lead my client's Smart Buildings team. Within the first 6 months, you will have a hands-on project delivery focus, however, this will change within 6 months to have Regional Lead responsibilities including; technical sales support, technical implementation lead, post-implementation, people & partner development, SME, and fulfilling technical leadership and management. As this role does have technical elements, you will need to feel comfortable being a subject matter expert to my client's business development teams, alongside designing and delivering robust and reliable data buildings integrations. This is a big hire and the first of its kind for my client, so we're looking for the right mix of technical exposure and leadership experience.

Key Requirements include:

• A passion to work in the smart buildings space.
• You will have at least 10+ years' technical engineering experience working with BMS/MSI smart building integrations - exposure to multiple control systems is preferred.
• A strong understanding of the need for IT / OT convergence.
• Led design and delivery for large MSI / SI projects.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Degree Educated.

Nice to have's:

• CEM / CMVP / CDSM / CBCP / PE / LEED
• Data ontologies exposure such as Haystack, Brick Schema, DTDL, and others.
