The Company

My client is a leading drilling and mining equipment manufacturer with more than 30 years of experience in the space. Their products include Drill Pipes & Drilling Tools for Rotary, RC HDD and DTH Drilling as well as Thrust Boring Technology.

 

The Role

-The ideal candidate will be experienced selling drilling equipment and consumables into open pit and underground mines.

-As an International Sales Manager you will be responsible for selling the company's products by identifying leads, educating prospects on products through calls, trainings, and presentations, and providing existing customers with exceptional support. You will also be responsible for servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

-You will be required to travel as needed to various markets to build relationship, facilitate sales, attend trade shows, visit various jobsites, and assist with assembly and installation of equipment.

-The territory will cover Latin America, The Middle East, Africa, Europe, CIS and Oceania where applicable.

-You will need to become extremely familiar with the product (features, advantages, mechanical aspects, warranty’s, etc.

 

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years of Sales/Business Development experience and the ability to negotiate a

good deal

  • An individual who can work proactiveley in the best interest of the company.
  • The successful candidate will create and implement both short term and long range

business objectives to grow the business volumes and margins.

  • You will maximize sales and margins through strong and effective dealer management and organize sales and dealers in the assigned territory to maintain, penetrate and increase sales.
