The Company:
My client are a market leading OEM that manufacture heavy construction and material processing equipment. They provide innovative solutions for the construction, aggregate, recycling and mining industries.
The Role:
In this role you'll be tasked with leading the global organisation across all major functions such as sales, supply chain, production, R&D and engineering where you will lead teams in several locations globally
-The role includes P&L responsibility of the business and requires capability to increase the market share by driving further the business concepts and product portfolio as well as cooperating continuously with the sales team and distributors. You'll be responsible for the growth and profitability of the business
-You will be responsible for the whole dealer management process from onboarding to monitoring to removal if necessary
-You will need to develop new business and manage the business portfolio whilst further developing the product offering to meet customer needs and capture more market share
-You will need to become extremely familiar with the product (features, advantages, etc.)
-Leadership qualities fostering strong employee engagement and driving performance culture in the global organisation.
Favourable Criteria:
-Prior experience at an OEM of heavy construction, material processing or mining equipment and/or material handling within the construction equipment or rental equipment industry required
-Prior experience of construction or material processing markets in a dealer development/sales environment
-Demonstrated record of achievement in a sales related position with major/strategic/key accounts
-8+ years of heavy machinery experience and the ability to negotiate a good deal
-An individual who can work pro actively in the best interest of the company
Location and Travel:
-United States
-Travel both domestically and Internationally will be required
