Process Engineer - Subject Matter Expert (Metal Print Quality).

A fortune 500 business with a designated Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) division is looking for a Subject Matter Expert, to join their process engineering team. The division acts with a start-up culture and is looking for someone who would thrive in an environment surround by likeminded entrepreneurial thinkers.

The role gives you autonomy to work on one of the most exciting projects the business has launched, whilst giving you the opportunity to develop innovative industry-defining technology for a multi-billion-dollar sector.

The Role:

You’ll be required to provide technical leadership in the 3D print process domain with an expert focus in Jetting, Base Motion, Tool Path or Quality domains.

You’re an experienced engineer in print reliability metrics and quantification. Plus, comfortable with demonstrating improvement in reliability of electromechanical systems.

Whilst working as part of a wider team, you will be a sole contributor to the development of jetting print mechanics and confident in presenting your findings to senior leadership

You’ll also have experience in handling part and process quality issues in 3D printing domain (metal and/or polymer)

Requirements:

Completed a BS degree in Physics or Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or hold an Advance degree (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)

5 years or more of relevant industry experience in reliability engineering and/or jetting/motion control/print process
