Commissioning Manager - Data Centre construction.

My client is actively involved in several projects in the DACH region and is looking to bring on-board a Commissioning Manager to work closely with all members of the project team, and ultimately verify and close out all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety and fire sprinkler scopes of a project. 

So what does this involve?

• Commissioning and validation certification of project systems, including the turnover package.
• Deploying full commissioning plans for all MEP systems that identify and define the following: all test requirements, required inspections, factory start-up of major equipment, factory acceptance testing, project and vendor documentation requirements, and integrated test plans demonstrating full system operations.
• Day to Day management of the commissioning process for large data centre projects. Use of technology; BIM360 used to track all items.

So what kind of skills and experience are we looking for in a Commissioning Manager?

• At least 5 years of commercial construction experience, preferably working similar Hi-Tech, Data Centre or Life Science projects
• Experience as an MEP Coordinator, or other relevant position, during the commissioning phase of a project
• German-language skills necessary
• Be a collaborative and passionate advocate for customers, empowering and informing them throughout the project.
