Business Development Director - Contract Logistics

Pre-Pandemic the demand for high-quality contract logistics services was high, moving into a Post-Pandemic world that demand is critical with industries such as E-Commerce, Technology, and Electrified Automotive manufacturing and service driving demand to new heights.

With demand comes opportunity and that is where you come in. As a well experienced and connected Business Developer you understand how to identify and convert large scale contract logistics projects €15M EUR+ through the full sales cycle and client aftercare. Service really is at the heart of what you do as you know happy client = more business and ultimately more commission in your pocket.

This client originally found their feet as a service provider to complex industrial clients, providing end-to-end supply chain services with technology forward warehousing solutions. As they have grown their focus has developed further into the Automotive sector and also the Technology and more recently the E-Commerce sector. What differentiates their services from competitors in the market is a highly integrated visibility platform that ties in from Source to Final Mile in such a way that continuous improvement and optimisations are relatively easy to accomplish.

The role is focused on New Business Development, identifying and landing high-value contracts (we know that these cycles run long) in the UK and Germany. This is a role that rewards success, with the most successful business developers in the business often exceeding €200k in variable salary.
